1 Friary, Temple Quay, Bristol Achieves Wiredscore Gold

Bankfoot APAM is pleased to confirm that 1 Friary, Bristol is set to achieve WiredScore Gold.

This confirms that the building will be one of the best in the country in terms of broadband and telecom infrastructure – and a market leader in the City of Bristol, when it is delivered later next year. The accreditation award makes a fantastic achievement and is testament to the project team.

Alongside Wired Score, the project is also targeting the highest ratings for BREEAM, NABERs, and WELL certification, whilst also targeting SmartScore certified.

The scheme, designed by architects tp bennett, will deliver 80,000 sq. ft. of quality, highly sustainable flexible workspace. The redevelopment will involve comprehensive remodelling and extension of the existing building, providing almost 40,000 sq. ft. of additional office space, along with expansive cycle provision and end-of-trip facilities.

The redevelopment will be an exciting addition to the Bristol landscape and will follow several successful developments completed by Bankfoot APAM across Bristol.

Eleanor Burke, Development Manager for Bankfoot APAM, said “We appreciate that tenants are now demanding more from their workspace and as such, we are excited to be delivering an office scheme which is so highly committed to future proofed infrastructure. Whilst the accreditations demonstrate our continued commitment to ESG, we firmly believe that well-considered design is fundamental to creating truly sustainable development.”
